Pickleball Challenge to raise money for the Jerry Lasiter Scholarship
This is a fun event for players of all ages and skill level! We are raising money for the Jerry Lasiter scholarship. This is a four year renewable scholarship intended for those who are going into special education, have had an IEP in school, or who have made an impact on the community.
The second annual Clark-Pleasant Pickleball Challenge with be held on Saturday 9/14/2024 from 9:00am to 12:00pm at the Whiteland Community High School Tennis Courts. In case of inclement weather we will have a rain date of Sunday, September 15th at 1:00 p.m. (There will not be a 3rd date.) All proceeds go to the Jerry Lasiter Scholarship fund. Jerry is a long-time honored icon in the Clark-Pleasant Community. The entrance fee is $30.00 and include a T-shirt if you register by 9/1/2024. There will be additional shirts at the event but they will be limited. This is a round robin, rally scoring to 15 event. We have 10 courts ready to go. An award will be presented to the champion with the highest point total. All level of players are invited. You must be at least a freshman in high school to participate. Please remember this is a scholarship fundraiser so bring your checkbooks or contribute to our buckets. Any level of giving will help to get this scholarship fully funded. It is for a good cause honoring the legacy of a great man. Walk-ins will be welcomed but we cannot guarantee participation without a pre-registration.
